Reduce The Amount of Plastic In The World!!
(Please Note this workshop is from 6:45 pm – to 8:15 pm – this event app doesn’t allow for the quarter hour – wth?)
Are you intrigued by the zero waste movement, but aren’t sure how to get started? Are you overwhelmed by the sheer amounts of plastic found in your kitchen, but don’t know what to use in its place? In this make & take workshop, Christina will facilitate a hands-on demonstration of how to make lovely, reusable, and eco-conscious beeswax wraps. You will learn about each of the materials used and why. When you leave this workshop, you’ll have the power (and skill) to be able to eliminate plastic wrap from your kitchen forever!
This workshop will last approximately 1.5 hours. In addition to the beeswax wrap you take home, you’ll receive a handout that highlights facts and talking points. Christina will have her eco-conscious housewares line available for browsing and purchase if you’d like to further expand your zero waste lifestyle beyond the beeswax wrap you made.
***You may pay Linda directly at The Cottage of Natural Elements*** If you’d prefer not to buy tickets via the link included (Eventbrite). Each ticket is $25.
