Fire Element is energetic passion, illumination, and Intuitive Action. It is also the spark of divinity that shines within us and the essence of all forms of magic, since magic is the process of change. Fire is creation, destruction and transformation. Fire is Shakti energy, the quintessential potential for manifestation.

Fire is the most active of elements, it represents motivation – the will to create or to destroy, to move towards something. Fire emotions are intense, focused, and propelled by intuition. Without Fire element to motivate, we settle into a fixed state, never moving forward.

Fire is masculine energy, authoritative, sexual, and destructive when necessary.

A person dies to one stage of life to be reborn to a new. Every day we are challenged in some way to let go of the old and create the new. Each of us is challenged by our life circumstances.

Ritual For Letting Go & Moving Forward

1: Make a list of emotional baggage and beliefs that no longer align with your vision of the best you. Gather physical items you are ready to part with and pack them up for recycling, repurposing, or donating.

2:  Begin with your own ritual prayer and greeting to invite the quarters, deities, & relations to bless your space and bear witness to your ceremony.

3:  Facing South, with a fire lit in a fireplace, outdoor pit, or simply lighting a candle – meditate quietly on the positive transformation of letting go of what no longer serves you. Remember when the item/idea/ person held purpose in your life, giving thanks for the privilege and usefulness it once served. Make Peace and imagine a mutually beneficial parting of the ways.

4:  Close out your Ceremony by Thanking the Quarters, Deities & Relations for their Presence & Power. Leave an offering of tobacco, herbs, smudging, crystal or other gift in Thanks for giving testimony to your sacred ceremony.

5:  Dispose of the items on your list by donating, recycling, and breaking off relationships.  If necessary, simply end the relationship quietly on your own terms if there is no beneficial way left to relate to one another.

6:  Know that you have cleansed & purified your shakti energy so that you can create new vision and allow sovereignty to enter your life – LET IT IN.
